What type of wicks do the candles come with?

​

Our candles either come with 100% cotton wicks or wood wicks made from naturally filled trees.

The 11oz candles may include double cotton wicks or one wooden wick.

 

With our smaller candles, these candles include one cotton wick or one wooden wick as described above.

No lead or zinc filled wicks are used...ever!!!

What kind of wax is used to make P.S. Essential Scent candles?

We use a premium blend of coconut and soy waxes.  This blend was selected to extend the scent throw of your selected candle(s).  In addition, we love the polished smooth finish.

 

No dyes or additional additives are included.

Why do you use wax and fragrances without parabens and phthalates?

While some parabens and phthalates are considered to be safe, there are others that are not.  To ensure we are using clean scents that do not include possible adverse effects; we have hand selected fragrances that do not include these items.

Shipping

How long does shipping take?

From the moment your order is placed, please allow 3 to 4 business days to get your order together.  Depending on your distance from our location in SC,  although we cannot guaranteed  delivery dates due to COVIDs impact on our shipping carriers it is our belief you should receive your package within 2 to 6 days from shipping.

What carrier is used for shipping?

We send all packages via USPS or UPS.  You will receive your tracking number via email as soon as we pack and print a label for your order.

How long do pre-orders take?

Please allow up to 10 business days for any pre-orders. If your order includes a pre-ordered item as well as one already in stock, we will wait to send both items.

Sustainability

Are the candle jars and lids recyclable?

Yes! All of our vessels and boxes are recyclable.  However, we recommend repurposing your jars and or lids.
